Festival International des Oasis de Tozeur

The International Oasis Festival of Tozeur celebrates Saharan culture and the oasis heritage of southern Tunisia. This event highlights the traditions of the Jérid region through music, dance, craftsmanship and local gastronomy.

Tozeur, gateway to the Sahara and a city of distinctive ochre bricks, hosts this festival in its palm groves and cultural spaces. The programme includes folk group performances, camel parades, craft exhibitions and tastings of local produce.

The festival is also a window into the nomadic and sedentary traditions of southern Tunisia, offering visitors an immersion in a preserved ancestral way of life.
