The Medina of Tunis Festival is a cultural event dedicated to traditional music and Arab-Andalusian musical heritage. It takes place in the historic palaces and monuments of the Medina of Tunis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The festival celebrates Tunisia's rich musical heritage through malouf concerts, Sufi music, religious chanting and classical Arab music. Concerts are held in history-laden venues: Dar Lasram, Dar Ben Achour and other beylical palaces.
The intimate spaces and architectural beauty of the monuments create an immersive experience that transports audiences into the refined world of Arab-Islamic civilisation.
