Interference is the first light art festival in Africa, founded in 2016 in Tunis. The festival takes over the alleyways and monuments of the Medina of Tunis with light projections, immersive installations and digital creations that transform architectural heritage into an artistic canvas.

The festival creates dialogue between contemporary digital art and centuries-old heritage, inviting local and international artists to create ephemeral works that reveal the medina's hidden beauty in a new light. Interference also includes an educational programme with workshops and conferences on digital art.

Internationally recognised, Interference has helped position Tunis as an emerging hub for digital art in Africa and the Arab world.
