A fenced block of pre-Saharan steppe north of Ben Gardane, created to let overgrazed grassland recover; satellite images show the vegetation inside the fence against bare ground outside. Scimitar-horned oryx, ostrich and gazelle have been reintroduced.

- Yes. Entry is by authorisation from the Direction Generale des Forets or the Medenine forestry commissariat.

- A warden accompanies visits.

- October to April.
- RULES
- The park is fenced and access is through the guarded gate only; keep to the tracks so the restored grassland is not damaged.
