El Fahs, Zaghouan
Thuburbo Maius, in the fertile Oued Miliane plain, was a town of Libyan-Berber origin that prospered under Rome and later saw Vandal and Byzantine use. The visit covers the forum and capitol, winter and summer baths, a palaestra, a market and many temples, with a museum.
