E-Fest is the temple of digital cultures in Tunisia. Founded in 2007 as a non-profit event, it held its first editions at the Cathedral of Carthage before reinventing itself at Ksar El Ferch in the Tataouine governorate after a seven-year hiatus.
The festival operates on a pay-what-you-can model, reflecting its philosophy of accessibility and sharing. It brings together electronic music, digital arts, interactive installations and land art in a unique architectural setting: the Berber ksour of southern Tunisia.
Festival proceeds contribute to the restoration of historic ksour, creating a virtuous circle between contemporary culture and heritage preservation. E-Fest represents the Tunisian alternative spirit in its purest form.
