“Real” historical figures… and “imaginary” ones… parade across the stage to prove something… that may have happened, or maybe not!
Conflicts and battles, once told in grand, idealized ways, will have their sacred shine stripped away.
“Twerikh Tounes” (Histories of Tunisia) is a mirror that refuses to faithfully reflect the fixed narratives found in textbooks. If you’re here looking for a History lesson, well, you’re in the wrong place. Here, we laugh—first at ourselves, then at anyone who thinks History is exact, untouchable, and flawless.
Come laugh with us—at us… and at yourselves!
