CultureSouk El Attarine

Ancienne caserne ottomane édifiée en 1814 par Hammouda Pacha aux abords de la mosquée Zitouna, au cœur de la médina de Tunis. Désaffectée par l'armée en 1881, elle a abrité une grande bibliothèque publique nourrie des fonds de la Zitouna, à l'origine de la Bibliothèque nationale de Tunisie. En cours de restauration, elle s'ouvre aujourd'hui à l'art contemporain, de Dream City à la biennale Jaou Tunis.
