TSHAK | BABA TSHA

Akram Chekki, known by his stage names TSHAK & BABA TSHA, is a Tunisian DJ and electronic music composer born on May 8, 1985, in Tunis. He began his DJ career in 2005, with his first gig at the Boeuf Sur Le Toit club. By 2007, he signed his first House track with London's "2 Label Recording," followed by deals with "Pandora Digital Records" in Portugal and "System Record" in the USA. In 2011, TSHAK launched his own label, Koojina Records, specializing in House, Tech House, Techno, and Progressive House. Known for blending electronic music with Arab influences, TSHAK produced tracks like "Ya Habibi" and remixed Tunisian folklore with "Bahdha Hbibti." His unique style and creativity have earned him recognition in both the Tunisian and international music scenes, promoting local and global talent through his label.
