Barzakh

BARZAKH was born on February 7th, 2006. The beginning of a long journey. Since then, western notes carved on oriental rhythms, distorted sounds purified by the melodies of the desert defined BARZAKH. A symphony of souls who are often opposed: East - West or West – East, BARZAKH is a ""voice"" of encounter, but does not want to become a point. The journey has just begun. First official appearance on stage was impactful and led the band to become: ""The first Tunisian background music band to officially participate in a national contest” BORKEN was BARZAKH’s visa. A song which, thereafter, will be the favorite of the band fans. Recognized for being the first Tunisian metal group to combine words and music of Tunisian influence with a musical genre known to be Western, BARZAKH continues to anchor this originality by presenting their audience with increasingly harmonious, melodious and deep compositions, such as ""Forsen"" and ""Redemption"". This has earned the band invitations to be the opening bands of international groups and artists such as FIRE WIND (Greece), KIKO (Brazil), MUFF POTTER (Germany) and SYMPHONY X (USA). After a 7-year break, the group returns with a new version of “Mennar” A song from the album ""Noor"" whose songs were all recorded in 2011, but which only found lyrics in 2019 that which represent the state of mind with which Barzakh has decided to rise from its ashes. During the confinement of COVID 19, BARZAKH still managed to release the first song from the 2nd album. The chorus of ""Ardh"" is a hymn to resilience and love for the land. The music video with Manga and comic influences marks even more the offbeat style of the group. In September 2020, Barzakh released ""Bled Il 3imien"", one of the tracks from the 2nd album which bears the same name as the song. The rest of the tracks from the 2nd album ""bled il 3imien"" are expected in 2021"
