Hyperculte، نبذة

Hyperculte is a Geneva duo formed in 2014 by Simone Aubert (drums, guitar, vocals; also of Massicot and Tout Bleu) and Vincent Bertholet (double bass, vocals; of Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp), who met living in the same Geneva squat. Bertholet loops and effects his bass while Aubert plays sharp, precise drums, and both sing short repetitive texts drawn from improvisation, literary fragments and political slogans, in a minimal, trance-like mix of disco, pop, krautrock, punk and post-rock. Their albums Hyperculte (2016), Massif Occidental (2019) and La Pangee (2023) were released on the Geneva label Bongo Joe Records.
